Great service and food! We stopped in after touring the National Music Museum around 3:00 and Brule was quite busy for this time of day. We had the meatloaf & hot beef dinners with grilled veggies and garlic mashed potatoes. We couldn't have picked better comfort food for a chilly day. Both dinners were tasty and priced reasonable for the higher quality & quantity. Christian did an excellent job attending to all of the details and the food arrived after a short wait. Highly recommend eating here and is one of the many gems here in Vermillion.

Always enjoyable. Service has always been well above average. Even though it was graduation Saturday, we only waited 15 minutes to be seated.

Was in town from out of state and decided to stop in. The drinks from the coffee bar were on point. The food was delicious. Our wait staff was friendly and wonderful. So much so we went back the next morning for brunch.

Although I've never tried anything else other than the deserts it looks tasty. The service is also amazing, and the pastries never fail. even the day old ones. Please tip the staff as the wages they get are below average. This saddens me since I know the owners make good money. For this only thing I give it 👍 👍 👍 👎 👎 Pay your employees their worth and the thumbs will be all up.

So, not going to lie…. I originally came to town to eat at the Silk Road Cafe a few doors down for some amazing Korean. But they were closed for some reason. So, I made my way here as a good back up. Place was quite busy. Had to wait on getting a table and it was not a holiday weekend or anything. Manager (or owner?) was very friendly and took our name for a list and got busy looking for vacancies. I ordered the meatloaf, and my friend ordered a salad, but I can’t remember which one. I also tried the Broccoli Cheese soup. Everything we got was very good, and all worth getting again if we couldn’t decide on trying something new next time. Service was good even though they were busy. There was a gal that made rounds just to keep water glasses full, in case your waiter/waitress was busy. Friendly atmosphere. This place is like a combination of a mom and pop small town cafe, yet with the classy feel and service of a newer modern style bar and grill. Would recommend anyone try this place, although I still have to give a shout out to Silk Road (which I’ve also reviewed) as well. Try them both!!

The atmosphere was fantastic! The food was excellent and the staff were phenomenal. We ordered from the summer menu, and it will be our go-to dining spot.

Fun place to eat for lunch. Salmon was good, as was the Reuben sandwich. And of course, the desserts are always top-notch. It can get a little loud in there sometimes because of the acoustics otherwise everything else is a five star .

We came in as part of a large group (15!) and were seated and served very quickly. The food was fresh and delicious, one of the best meals I've had the whole time I've been in the US and absolutely somewhere I would make a significant diversion on my journey to come back to again.

Food was delicious! We got the crab rangoon nachos and the Mac and cheese. It was amazing! I got a price of the carrot cake to go for my dad and he loved it too.
